The Boston Globe has endorsed Will Brownsberger for re-election, noting his longstanding work on housing affordability, census and redistricting, government transparency, and police oversight.
“The senator for Belmont, Watertown, and parts of Boston and Cambridge is a well-respected policy wonk who is considered to be among the smartest, most capable, and most productive lawmakers on Beacon Hill.”
The editorial board also credited Brownsberger with being a force for productivity in the Legislature.
“…the idea that Brownsberger is somehow the impediment to what could otherwise be a well-oiled Senate is far-fetched. The truth is something closer to the opposite: Brownsberger is one of the relatively few who’s figured out how to overcome the Legislature’s tendency to inertia.
